Psoriasis is a bothersome condition and to complicate matters, it can not only show up on your body but also your scalp. Continual use of natural psoriasis treatment methods should alleviate and heal your scalp psoriasis. A amalgamation of a psoriasis shampoo and essential oil product will be your best bet in clearing your condition.

I hv been affected by mild scalp psoriasis. Only a patch about 2 sq. cm hv been affected. No itching and/burning sensation. Only scaling was going on. I consulted dematologist @ Apollo (one of the best hospitals in India). I was assured that it is in very early stage & was prescriped Diavonex scalp lotion. Tropical application 2times daily for 3 months improved my patch. Only 3 pin point areas & 1 patch of about 1/4″ is still scaling. Three fingers of my hand have also been affected by nail psoriasis recently. I hv been prescriped Tazarotene 0.1% w/w oint. to apply locally at the nails & take up again with earlier Diavonex, Fongiture shampoo & an anti-oxident. Can a name help me understanding the therapy going on me. Can some suggestions come across?

My son got it as an adult after serving in the US Army. He thought the red flaky patches on his scalp was from wearing a kevlar helmet for most of 6 years. He’s a civilian now but its worse than ever before. We’ve tried medicated shampoo, lemon juice, some type of coal oil stuff from the pharmacy. It looks really horrid if he has his hair small. I have a cosmetology license, but currently do not work in a salon. I have a relative who suffers from scalp psoriasis which causes flaking and dandruff but does not see a doctor for it. I want to buy some excellent shampoo for her, but have no thought which brand works the best. She questions me to trim her hair, so I see this condition and want to help her. She also has psoriasis on her neck. I reckon she should get a prescription from a doctor but she isn’t doing that for some reason. Any professional products in the salon supply stores I could buy for her?

I saw someones answer about Champori products, just wanted to see if anyone has tried that. If not then any opinions besides neutrogena would be splendid and without a dermatologist, she has already received a couple of things from one and it helped some but not that splendid. I don’t know what they were besides one was a shampoo.
