Hi! I’m so frightened that my hair loss will not stop. I’ve been using salicylic acid along with a topical steroid (in the form of foam) for the past week and a half. I do feel like the itching is less and it’s clearing up a small, but I’m still losing lots of hair. How long does it take for these treatments to work? I’ve lost so much hair and I really can’t afford to lose more Thank you!

My scalp psoriasis has begun to flare up again after many years (I’ve had severe to moderate psoriasis in view of the fact that I was a baby) and I’m flaking nearly every day. It’s being paid exceptionally annoying and bothersome. I’m currently using prescription salicylic acid in mineral oil every night, which of course only treats the flaking, so it just keeps coming back over and over again. I use T-Gel all the time; it isn’t helping much. Have any of you had distress with scalp psoriasis? If so, I’d like to hear anything you’ve tried that was more or less successful.

I have small patches of psoriasis on my elbows and one of my knees. I use some topical creams aptly now containing any coal tar or salicylic acid.
