my girlfriend is having some problems withe her skin. she started tanning for prom and started being paid welps on her skin. now she has what she thought was poison ivy but its lasting for a really long time and being paid everywhere. her stomach, arms, face, legs. they’re huge red bumps that itch and hurt her. people have said it might be psoriasis, shingles, poison ivy, poison oak, and heat rash. she uses cream and stuff used for poison ivy and sometimes it helps some. the other day a place my hand on her arm and it was on one of the spots and she said the heat really helped it stop hurting. but when she was sweating it burned her spots really terrible. im really worried about her. i reckon her mom is being paid her a doctors appointment next week. what could be the problem and what could help her? please help!

Hi i am 15 years ancient and have moderate psoriasis. I reckon i also have guttate on my chest (red spots) which is embarrasing when i play basketball because i can’t really take off my shirt when we are playing as skins. but anyway the coaches know when i tell them. I was wondering if anyone knows if Blue Thwart and Blue shield covers the Excimer Laser treatment for psoriasis. Also, aptly now in view of the fact that its summer my psoriasis is in a remission. But, there are nickel-sized white spots on my arms (about 2 or 3) tiny spots and about 5 on my aptly calf. I was wondering what i could do to clear these spots ( a bit) i use dovonex and Keri Lotion aptly now and also place on sunscreen so as to not get sunburn. If anyone could give me some help i will really appreciate it. I am willing to send pics of my psoriasis (not in a nasty way) for any experienced doctors/dermatologists on this webpage. I have guttate psoriasis on my arms and on my body with plaques on my elbows and a large patch between my breasts. Last week I saw the doctor who prescribed me Dovonex (Calcipotriol) which I have been using for the past week. The thing is, I reckon it might be making it worse. There are more patches than their were before and they are more red than they were before but they are less scaly. Also the patch between my breasts has doubled in size but it is not itchy anymore.I was just wondering if that was part of the process of healing or if it was really making it worse and if I should go back to the doctors. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I am taking Selenium, and all the usual Omegas, Vit D etc. But I have heard that Gota Kola is excellent as it helps the skin.

And yes, I have been to my doctors. I have tried coal tar treatments, steriod creams, topical creams etc and nothing really works. I am life reffered for set alight therapy but until then I want to try and help myself.

Can anyone help me out here?
I know that the problem is an immune deficency but have heard that supplementing your diet can help from the inside,
