For about 5 years now (I’m a teen) I’ve had these red bumpy patches of skin on my upper arms and butt (it looks different from the arms) that often turn into postules. People tell me all the time it’s eczema (at least on my arms, I haven’t told people about my butt) but it doesn’t itch at all. I reckon it’s heredatary because my dad has it and my mom had it when she was younger. So do you guys reckon it’s eczema or psoriasis? Any treatment suggestions would be nice too. Thank you so much!

Hey everyone,
My name is Mal, and I have had psoriasis in view of the fact that I was in 8or 9. I am now nearly 16. My psoriasis has gotten so much better over the past couple of years I went from about having probably 60% of my body covered to about 40%. But my brother who is 8 years ancient has the same condition but it is far worse. I just have it lightly on my arms and my back, legs, my scalp,and a small on my chest. I first started seeing signs of psoriasis when my parents got divorced and it did not help when my dad when killed 7 months later. I know this is caused by stress by I would like some opinions from others about the type of treatment you use?
I have used Dovenex, Clobex, t-gel and other methods of treatment.
I thought about set alight therapy, tanning beds, and just lying out in the sun but I am really tired of this is there any way some people have really gotten rid of psoriasis.

Please let me know!

I get psoriasis on my scalp, and on the bridge of my nose- What is ther best ointment or cream to help treat psoriasis on the head?
Scalp psoriasis is appalling, as it causes severe dandruff, and itches like crazy.
The best cure for that (for me) is shaving my head- i did that once, and the psioriasis went into total submission- but I don’t look excellent bald-Any advice? I use T-Gel shampoo, which helps a bit…
Bill, its psoriasis- it’s genetic- my dad has it, as do my brothers. i get it on my chest as well…

My dad himself, has esophageal cancer. On my mom’s side I was told that I might get diabetes, in view of the fact that my uncles and grandma has diabetes. I currently have a type of guttate psoriasis that won;t seem to go away. I have two other siblings and we were all born with mild asthma. Can there be a huge risk for us to inherit any cancer or diabetes genes in blood frm our parents?
