I have had psorisis fince I was 5…I am 23 now…and very consious of how I look…the younger years were the worst for me…would never show any flesh which made things worse! But as I got grown-up I like fashion and showing flesh…I went on sunbeds for years and then got told I have skin damged skin…so have not been bk on for a year…I really like the fake tan look and want to be able to stick with it…but over the past few years I’ve noticed it makes the psorisis worse…eg the tan will look lovley for about 4 days and then goes all patchy when coming off…then start to get outbreaks and new patches of psorisis and becomes sore and red! So can’t win any way really sunbeds nor fake tan…I heard that there’s something in the fake tan that makes the skin produce to much white blood cells which is the reason of psorisis anyway! If anyone knows of a tanning solution that won’t do this please let me know asap…I despise life pale! Just want nice skin!

I have psoriasis, I agree 100% that diet can make a diff. I stopped eating meat on advice of a name who had it and is now clear. My psoriasis has calmed down amazingly! i also take omega oils and avoid citrus or spicy foods. All i have now are pale white patches which are fading by the week!

I started to oil my scalp with virgin olive oil. Before I wash my hair, I de-scale my scalp, then I wash my hair, then I oil my scalp with VOO using a color applicator bottle, and massage it in for 5 minutes. I oil my scalp also between wash days every night (I wash hair every 3 days) I also switch out the oil I use every month. I have 4 oils I use in my routine. VOO, Coconut Oil, Almond Oil, and Shea butter – so my scalp does not get immune. I have not had scalp Psoriasis for over 1 year now.
