Gosh you guys are splendid everyone gave splendid advice. I am going to take one thing at a time and try it all until hopefully I find something that works. I only recently found out that it is an immune disorder.

Muriatic acid, anyone? just kiddin!
Can’t suggest Rx but I recall my friend trying this advice.
Saturate your scalp with apple cider vinegar (which apparently helps to re-establish the balance of the PH) — place it on with a towel on your head for about 1/2 hour to an hour, then wash it out with an herbal shampoo for dry scalp that has natural oils (jojoba, olive, etc) and no sodium laurel sulfate. At night, rub aloe vera and jojoba oil into the scalp and sleep in it overnight to let it soak in. I he’s done it for 4 days and it is a miracle — itching and flakes are nearly gone.

question you personal doctor. for some it is Methotrexate, some a simple clobetasone will do, some do it with remicade, or an exposure to UV. Question first your doctor. Where you clinically diagnosed as PWP?(person with Psoriasis) If not, better be sure.
For me, managing it was a amalgamation of sorts. I am clear for six months now and this is what I did:
1. Prayer
2. Hydrate with four glasses of water upon waking-up in the morning. This procedure does a lot of wonder and one is flushing out toxins.
3. Take care of your liver. Take supplements that take excellent care of it.
4. Follow the Doctor’s advice and participate in the managing process. Tell your doctor what you reckon works and what does not. It is your body and you must know it well.
5. Reconcile with yourself. Flare-ups usually stems in not knowing what you like and whta you don’t like and avoid bonus burden.
6. Treat the ailment like a gift, because it truly is. Your skin, life the largest organ responds to your daily endeavor.
7. The best rx for most, is to know that there are people out there with the same circumstances like yours and they do know. Participate, Listen, Share.

Hey!!!! ^_^!!!
I have really had Psorasis in view of the fact that I was 10 or 11. I am now 17 and my Psorasis started in my head(when I was 10 or 11) and now it has spread to my face, trunk, and thighs. I have tride Dovenex it is a RX(small for prescription medication) though. I’ve tride steroid creams (Get OTC hydrocortizone; it has helped more than the Rx stuff, if you are wanting to go the cream route ^_^!!!) I used coal tar in the beginig but all it did was over time, it had made the Psorasis worse and cause it to get inflamed and it incerased the itching and it also caused my scalp to sting and burn. Dead Sea salt has helped some(go to the mall you should find it in one of those spa and skin lotion places) I’ve heard of Oatmeal and honey baths works wonders for dry skin(I’ve not tried this!!). I have heard if the Psorasis is terrible enought they will try to talk you into doing Methotrixtrate. That happened w/ me and my Mum wouldn’t let the Dermatologist do it b/c I’ve had family members who’ve had terrible reactions w/ Methotrixtrate and nearly died. I wouldn’t sugesst going w/ Chemo drugs to help w/ Psorasis b/c those type of drugs alter you immune system and you’ll regret doing later down the road. My Mum was on Rheumicade(for Chrons/Colitis) and she has not immune system to fight anything now b/c Rheumacide as you know, is a chemo drug and it surpress your immune system and it really causes you to feel tired and sick.
I aplogize that you have to endure from this skin problem. I know at times it can make us feel self contious about the way we look at ourselves and we sometimes wish it would vanish with a special cream or drug. Just keep trying new meds and OTC’s and hopefuly you’ll find something that will work for you. For shampoo, Have you tried Head and Sholders or other dander/Psorasis shampoo? I use lots of conditioner when I shower. I don’t know how sensative your skin is but Coconut condtioner/shampoo makes me go into flares so watch and when you shower see if certain shampoo’s or Condtioner’s will cause your Psorasis to flare up.
I hope I’ve given you some help and that you can get that Psorasis of yours under control. Best Regards!!!^_^!!!!

Treatment of paoriasis: sitting in sunlight for about half an hour(not more) everyday is an effective treatment for psoriasis also you would place some creams such as dove or clipp on the affected area which would moisten the area and help resolve the lesions….plus medical treatment such as imiquimod and retinoic acid derivatives which can help but ofcourse you need a doctor to prescribe these and see your status…i don’t reckon vitamins as A and E would help in psoriasis in view of the fact that they boost ur immunity and psoriasis is an autoimmune disease
Best wishes
Say Goodbye to Psoriasis
Hi!
Psoriasis is an auto-immune condition similar to allergies. The only drug available out there in the market are medicines that will just provide temporary relief to the itchyness/flush/infection and not to stop the main problem – the lack of cellular communication between cells! The condition is really (in simple terms) – your own body’s defense mechanism is attacking your own body cells.
If you are open to alternative solutions beside synthetic drugs, I want to recommend you taking high doses of natural polysaccharides consequential from goji berries from the himalayas. There are no side effects and it’s all natural. Some (not all) of our clients though, experience some healing crisis- where the ancient and hurt underlying dermal cells are hard-pressed out of the skin during the first 3 weeks, appearing to be worse than before taking the juice. On the 4th or 5th week but, the new skin will start to appear and usually on the 6th to 8th week, the skin appears to be very normal as if nothing happened. The juice is taken 60ml or 2 ounces three times a day and available at . In case healing crisis occurs, increase the dose from 60ml to 90ml or 2-3 ounces 3 times a day. After skin normalizes, lower the dose to 30-60ml or 1-2 ounces 2 times a day as maintenance. Why maintenance? Because you need to supply your cells with constant glycoproteins that is essential to prevent your psoriasis from coming back. Your genetics can’t be altered at this point in time, and only when that second comes, maintenance can eliminated.
I’m confident your psoriasis will go away for excellent… because it really works!
Hope this info could help. God bless!
